Felling trapped in front of the computer putting together a new website I am grateful to be interrupted by the postman. He brings me a new camera. Well not that new, it is a well used second hand Cannon 5D mark 4 to replace my previous one that has seen so much use that it is just worn out beyond realistic repair. Adventure sports photography in wild places puts even the most robust cameras through a hard life and years of bumping into cliffs on a rock climb or being splashed with salter water in a sea kayak had finally seen the demise of the previous one. But they are just a tool and need to be used not preserved forever like a museum exhibit. For now the new delivery is a good excuse to get outside and test it with some pictures. First I pop over to Llyn Padarn and grab a lime lapse of the sun set.

Clear skies are a rarity, so a short walk added a shot of the power station illuminating the quarry.

No rest the next day as Action Man was desperate to make the most of good weather and get out in the mountains.
