I had been out on the hill to get a sunset shot and was looking forward to a relaxing evening when the message arrived. 'The Northern Lights were showing, was I already out there getting pictures?' Well the Aurora is rare in North Wales and coinciding with clear skies was too good to miss, so there I was out in the dark long after bed time trying to get enough shots to put together a time-lapse video before the clouds came back and the rain arrived.

The time-lapse worked and whilst it was being captured it gave me an opportunity to get the second camera out and get some epic shots of Action Man Space Ranger with a background that had been on my wish-list for a while, but never seemed achievable.
